What is Match Line?

A connected platform for job seeking, recruiting, hiring, and HRMS (people, leave, managers). See [What Is Match Line?](01_WHAT_IS_MATCH_LINE.md).

Who is Match Line for?

Job seekers, recruiters, HR teams, managers, and design-partner companies in controlled pilot.

Can a company use only Recruiting?

Yes — provision org, add recruiters, skip bulk HRMS import if you only need hiring workflow. Employee records still created on hire.

Can a company use only HRMS?

Yes — create org, import employees, use leave/directory without active requisitions.

How are employees added?

Manually (/hrms/people/new) or CSV import (/hrms/migration/workforce).

Can we import existing employees?

Yes — CSV with validation. Not Excel. See [Workforce Import](06_WORKFORCE_IMPORT_GUIDE.md).

How are managers assigned?

On employee form or manager_email column in import (resolved after rows exist).

How does leave work?

Policy → balance → request → manager → HR → approved. See [Leave Management](11_LEAVE_MANAGEMENT_GUIDE.md).

Can different employees have different leave policies?

Limited — one primary policy per org today; per-employee leave_policy_code on import if multiple codes exist.

Can we use different holiday calendars?

Per-employee holiday_calendar_code if multiple calendars created. Dates are manual.

Does Match Line support multiple countries?

Org-level template: GB, US, BR. Not full multi-country payroll compliance.

Documents

Available (M29): HR uploads documents on employee profile; employees view at /hrms/my-documents. Uploaded payslip files supported — not payroll processing.

Does Match Line run payroll?

No. Match Line can store uploaded payslip documents; it does not calculate or process payroll.

Can employees view payslips?

Yes — uploaded payslip documents marked employee-visible appear in /hrms/my-documents. Match Line does not generate payslips.

How are employees invited?

/hrms/invites → email or manual link → /invite/<token>.

Can job seekers track applications?

Yes — /applications and career dashboard.

How does candidate matching work?

Heuristic scoring from resume/profile vs job requirements. Supports recruiters; not AI hiring.

Who makes hiring decisions?

People — recruiters and hiring managers. Match scores are advisory.

How is company data separated?

Each organisation is tenant-scoped by organisation_id.

What happens when an employee leaves?

No dedicated offboarding module documented — deactivate access via admin (remove role / account) per operator procedure. LIMITED.

How do we contact support?

Organisation admin first; pilot clients contact Match Line operator per agreement.
